Today,
I was going to the Home Expo in Mid Valley. I have encountered some army near
the Mid Valley KTM station, look like they are afraid of the IS who will be
attacking this mall. I didn’t care it so much as I have my mission today. I
went to the Property expo and met some people who help me to explain about the
credit card, the KPKT low cost house and some properties adhered to this mall.
It got four seminars today and tomorrow by certain CEOs or manager in-charge.
I
was managed to ask one of the Maybank staff on the benefit 2 credit card offer,
the annual fee is free for life like the one for CIMB credit card. One of the
card got 5 point collections and another cards got 1 point collection where
this point can be used to exchange certain appliance as stated in the maybank2u
website. The credit card will not be activated until I activate it by calling
to the customer service line, but it needs 1 day or 24 hours to activate it
before using it. I didn’t apply for the credit card since I didn’t have to use
it for this moment. However, some people said if I cannot pass the CCRIS, it
will hard for me have loan mortgage.
After
that, I went to KPKT booth to know more about it. The people in charge said
that my salary must below RM 2500 to apply it as it is a low cost house in
Selangor area. Also, there are certain criteria before I can apply it, like I
must at least 18 years old, not having any house and must be apply via “Sistem
Pendaftaran Terbuka”. For further

Then, I went to attend the Property Talks by certain
companies’ managers and CEO. One of the attractive things I heard is the
Mortgage Reduction Planning (MRP). MRP is one of the way to reduce the debt and
save property investors’ money on buying property. It can reduce the bank loan
rate (BLR) from around 4.5% to around 2.2% and reduce the loan time. However, they
charged around 3% for their service. Another interesting thing is how to be a
global property investor. The speaker encourage people to invest other country
like Germany and New Zealand as investing in Malaysia only is like put all the
egg in one basket.
In the matter of fact, I have learned the important of lawyers
as they are the people who engage in S&P, which is an agreement between seller
and buyer so that cheat cases are avoidable. In addition, all banks and insurance companies
allow people to engage mortgage loan.
